"Hot" Rocks containing Uranium!

There are always specimens of U bearing minerals at shows.  Many people are terrified of these spectacular mineral species - most of the fear unfounded.  With cautious handling these are no more dangerous to one's health than a quartz crystal.  Special considerations do need to be given especially to kids since small dust sized grains could get lodged in their lungs and since they are growing it could create some serious health issues for them.   Enough of the warning.  These specimens are among the most interesting and colorful in the mineral kingdom.
