Erongo Mountain Fluorites

These specimens of fluorite from the Erongo Mountains in Namibia started to come out a couple years ago when the new find of beryl and tourmaline was introduced.  I found several of these at the Munich Show with different dealers and was specifically looking for combination specimens with fluorite, tourmaline and beryl present.  In all cases the matrix for these is dominated by the potassium feldspar - microcline indicating a pegmatitic origin for these.

MSEF01 - SOLD
Fluorite, Schorl and Beryl - $85.00
Erongo Mountains
Namibia
5.5 x 4.7 x 3.3 cm

This specimen has numerous cubic crystals of emerald green fluorite to 0.5 cm across.  Also present are terminated crystals of schorl and a dozen or so small crystals of beryl var. aquamarine scattred about. The largest of the beryls is about 0.4 cm in length.  The large schorl is fully terminated.  Most of the fluorite crystals are included with schorl also.
