Minerals from the
Democratic Republic of the Congo

I made several selections of specimens from the DRC - mostly from Chris and Brice Gobin.  The specimens consist of malachite and chrysocolla pseudomorphing barite and also specimens of acicular brochantite that were first seen at the Sainte Marie aux Mines show this past summer.  The Gobin's indicated that the brochantite find was a one time deal and that there is no prospect for additional specimens of these in the future.  Hence, I selected the best 3 of the 8 that they had.
