Cobaltoan Calcite

I first saw these specimens of cobaltoan calcite associated with pyrite at the Denver Show this past September. I made it a point to look for additional specimens while in Munich and I was not disappointed. One of the Moroccan dealers there had several of these placed on his table. I asked about the possibility of some better specimens. In a matter of moments I was getting excited as he was unwrapping the electric pink colored specimens one after the other. The vast majority were dinged up pretty bad but there were enough to warrant plunking down a large wad of euros to take these off his hands. Most of these have a stunning deep neon pink color and several have inclusions of micrometer sized grains of hematite that produce an interesting contrast of pink and reddish brown. Pink candy comes to mind with these...

to 1.2 cm across. Not anything more that I can say that this picture doesn't except that
