Moroccan Erythrite

There were two dealers who had specimens from the 2000 find of erythrite - Francois Lietard and a Moroccan dealer set up in Hall B3.  I rounded up ten of the best specimens I could find as the indications are that this material is finished.  It was a great find for the species and no new material is coming to light at this time.

Exceptional specimen of erythrite consisting of large, lustrous and deeply magenta colored crystals.  The largest of these fine crystals is 2.8 cm in length.  This was easily the finest specimen of erythrite available at the Munich 2001 Show.  Francois Lietard indicated that specimens of this quality are "no more".
