This is an assortment of minerals all containing the element silver. During the course of the show you kind of get a sense of what might make for an interesting array of specimens to offer on the web and when I saw the new find of Kongsbergites and Proustites I decided to kind of "go for it".

The following specimens are all leaf specimens of natural silver amalgam referred to as Kongsbergite. These are from a new German find made this past year. These were etched out of calcite matrix to expose the brilliant white luster.
