Aquamarine

Christian & Petra Gornik had a fine array of specimens of the relatively new beryl crystals from Namibia.  I selected two of the many that they had.  These are not the best nor the worst - merely typical of the quality material that they had.

2.5 x 1.8 cm specimen of feldspar hosting a small schorl crystal and two crystals of beryl var. aquamarine.  The center crystal is 1.4 cm in length and is fully terminated.
