Moroccan Minerals

At the show I found about 20 very nice specimens of azurite, fluorite, erythrite and anglesite.  They are all posted below.

6.3 x 5 cm specimen of nearly pure erythrite crystals as sprays and exposed crystals to 1.2 cm in length.  Easily the best of this lot the crystals are a rich magenta color.  The back side of this rock, like MOR4, is completely covered with crystals also!

7.9 x 5.1 cm partial crystal of aquamarine colored fluorite with minor quartz and minute pyrite crystals.   There were a few flats of fluorite in one of the dealers tents and this was the only one that this incredible aqua color.

Stunningly gemmy 2.8 x 2 cm specimen of smoky amber colored anglesite crystals.  These crystals are glassy and exceptionally lustrous.   The longest crystal is 2 cm in length.  Easily one of if not the best specimens of lead sulfate from the show!

The following specimens are all azurite from Toussit.  I visited well over a dozen dealers from Morocco and after plowing through well over 2000 specimens could only find these that were not in some way damaged.  These are all choice lustrous specimens of azurite - most would be considered gemmy as light travels easily through to reveal the deep azure blue color.
