This is the first time I have updated this room since setting up Trinity Mineral Co.  I decided that there'd been enough time since I came on line to toss a few rocks into this one so here goes - all from the Elmwood Mine!

SE 01 - $40.00 Etched Fluorite  Elmwood Mine Smith County Tennessee 5.4 x 3.4 x 3.3 cm specimen of etched fluorite.  There is no man caused damage to any portion of this specimen - only severe etching due to hot bath cooked up by mother nature.

SE 02  Fluorite  Elmwood Mine Smith County Tennessee 4 x 3 x 3cm cubic crystal of fluorite with distinctive violet colored phantoms. There is a small amount of dolomite attached to the back of the crystal.

SE 03 - $45.00 Fluorite on Sphalerite Elmwood Mine Smith County Tennessee 3.7 x 2.7 x 2 cm specimen of dolomite with ruby jack sphalerite crystals and a crystal of fluorite with violet colored phantoms. The fluorite crystal is 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm.

SE 04 - $65.00 Fluorite on Sphalerite Elmwood Mine Smith County Tennessee 4 x 3.2 x 2.2 cm specimen of lustrous ruby jack sphalerite with a single dark violet crystal of fluorite 1.6 x 1.5 cm.

SE 05 - $125.00 Fluorite  Elmwood Mine Smith County Tennessee 7 x 5.5 x 4 cm specimen of violet, cubic fluorite with some sphalerite.  The largest of the fluorite crystals is 2.3 cm across.

SE 06 - $175.00 Fluorite & Galena Elmwood Mine Smith County Tennessee 8.5 x 6.5 x 4.5 cm specimen of deep purple crystals of fluorite with bright silvery crystals of galena.  The largest fluorite crystals is 3.3 cm across.  The galena crystals range insize up tp 1.5 cm across.  They consist of cubes modified by octahedral faces.

SE 07  Etched Fluorite on Calcite Elmwood Mine Smith County Tennessee 8 x 6 x 3.5 cm doubly terminated composite crystal of lustrous amber calcite with two etched crystals of fluorite.  The largest of the fluorite cyrstals is 3.3 cm in length.  No damage to this interesting specimen!

SE 08 - Fluorite on Sphalerite Elmwood Mine Smith County Tennessee 5.7 x 5 x 4 cm specimen of lustrous ruby jack sphalerite with a cluster of rich violet colored fluorite crystals to 2.3 cm across.

SE 09 - $175.00 Calcite on Sphalerite Elmwood Mine Smith County Tennessee 6.3 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm specimen of sphalerite hosting a glassy, 6.3 cm, twinned crystal of calcite.  The crystal has no damage but does have an indentation on the back side (visible in the close up photos).  The luster and smoky colors on this specimen is what made the Elmwood mine famous with calcite collectors!
