Welcome to the Northeast USA Room - It's been a while since I was here last so... Here goes... I have placed a fairly diverse array of specimens in the room for this long overdue update including:

Herkimer diamonds, purpurite, triphylite, natrolite on datolite, tourmaline, chalcocite, diaspore, danburite, a couple of specimens from the Frankin area in New Jersey and a bit more.

If you see a specimen that is sold please ask me about others. I have several specimens of a lot of these species.

Large 12 x 8.5 cm specimen of kyanite - this is an old timer specimen owned not only by the chap above but also Joe Cilen... 6.5 x 4 cm chunk of purpurite - a manganese phosphate.  Purpurite never forms crystals but is only found in masses.  Interestingly, on fresh surfaces purpurite is rather dark to nearly balck.  Over time it lightens up to this incredible magenta color.  This and the next specimen are exceptionally rich specimens of this rare phosphate mineral.
