Gold - Nevada
August 15th
Gold from Nevada - Reno dealer Scott Werschky had a flat of pretty decent gold specimens from the Olinghouse mine near Reno, Nevada. This locality has been known for some time now but good specimens have become very scarce. They have a very pleasing filagree habit and have small leaves and wires mixed in there. 10 specimens in all.![]()
Veszelyite - MontanaAugust 15th
Specimens from the United States - I found a small group of specimens at the show to include here - all from the USA. There is also a large cabinet specimen of benitoite that I self collected at the mine in 2003.
